Introduction
Excessive physical exertion may lead to muscle stiffness, primarily due to the accumulation of lactic acid in the blood. The duration of this soreness is closely related to the intensity and volume of exercise. Poor blood circulation results in hypoxia (oxygen deficiency) in the blood, depriving body tissues of adequate oxygen and thereby causing generalized muscle aches.

Generalized body aches may arise from the following three causes:

1. Excessive Fatigue:

Prolonged maintenance of a single posture during work—often accompanied by minimal physical activity—may lead to muscle stiffness and soreness. Similarly, excessive or intense exercise can also cause muscle soreness, primarily due to lactic acid accumulation in the bloodstream. For example, after hiking or climbing mountains one day, individuals commonly experience generalized body aches the following day. The duration of such soreness is closely related to the intensity and volume of physical exertion. Rest, physiotherapy, and local heat application typically provide significant symptom relief.

2. Poor Circulation:

Impaired systemic circulation reduces oxygen delivery to tissues, resulting in tissue hypoxia and generalized body aches.

3. Nutritional Imbalance:

Many individuals exhibit highly selective eating habits, which often lead to nutritional deficiencies. Deficiencies in certain essential nutrients may manifest as widespread muscular aching. To prevent this, it is advisable to avoid picky eating and instead consume a varied, balanced diet. Generalized body aches may also occur with calcium deficiency, potentially presenting as diffuse bone and joint pain without a fixed location. Individuals experiencing such symptoms should seek timely medical evaluation and appropriate treatment.
