Introduction
When the body's metabolism is fast, people often feel hungry easily and frequently need to urinate. A rapid metabolism can lead to a relatively increased pulse and heart rate, as well as increased sweating. Besides physical symptoms, a fast metabolism may also manifest psychologically, causing irritability, restlessness, difficulty staying calm, easy excitability, and quickness to anger.

When the body's metabolism is fast, people often feel hungry very easily and frequently need to use the restroom. A faster metabolism leads to a relatively increased pulse and heart rate, and also causes excessive sweating. Besides physical symptoms, accelerated metabolism can also manifest psychologically, causing irritability, inability to stay calm, easy excitability, and quick temper. In severe cases, symptoms such as protruding eyes, significantly reduced sleep, and vivid dreams may occur.

I. Non-disease factors

After physical exercise, it is common for the body to experience an accelerated metabolism. This is considered normal, as exercise promotes blood circulation, thereby speeding up metabolic processes.

II. Disease factors

1. Diabetes

Diabetes is a type of high-metabolism disease. Patients with diabetes often exhibit increased metabolic rates, accompanied by symptoms including excessive thirst, frequent urination, increased appetite, and weight loss.

2. Hyperthyroidism

Hyperthyroidism is a catabolic disorder caused by excessive production of thyroid hormones. Elevated levels of thyroid hormones accelerate protein breakdown, leading to an overall increase in the body's metabolic rate.

3. Lesions of the pituitary or hypothalamus

Hypothalamic lesions can cause a series of metabolic disturbances, such as sleep disorders, sexual dysfunction, diabetes insipidus, and psychiatric abnormalities.
