Introduction
Armpit refers to the area under the arm. Pain in the armpit筋 (tendons or muscles) may result from long-term heavy physical labor causing muscle and fascia strain; follow medical advice to apply a local soothing and circulation-improving patch to promote recovery. It could also be caused by pathogen invasion leading to lymph node inflammation; take amoxicillin capsules as directed by a physician to alleviate symptoms. Additionally, it might stem from blocked mammary ducts triggering an inflammatory response, which can be treated with warm compresses or acetaminophen tablets as prescribed.

The armpit, clinically referred to as the axilla, may experience tendon pain due to various causes such as myofasciitis, lymphadenitis, or mastitis. It is advisable to visit a hospital for appropriate examinations to determine the exact underlying cause.

1. Myofasciitis

After prolonged heavy physical labor, muscle fascia may become damaged and develop aseptic inflammation, which can irritate the tissues and nerves in the axillary region. As directed by a physician, apply topical plasters that promote blood circulation and relax tendons, such as Shangshi Zhitong Plaster, Tongluo Shujin Plaster, or Musk Fengshi Plaster, to resolve blood stasis and aid functional recovery.

2. Lymphadenitis

When pathogens invade the body, they may enter the lymph nodes, causing inflammation. The resulting inflammatory response can stimulate nerves in the armpit area. It is recommended to take antibiotics under medical supervision, such as Amoxicillin Capsules, Cefixime Tablets, or Roxithromycin Tablets, to control infection and alleviate symptoms.

3. Mastitis

Inflammation resulting from blocked mammary ducts can also lead to pain in the axillary region. Applying warm compresses can improve blood circulation, or anti-inflammatory and analgesic medications such as Paracetamol Tablets, Ibuprofen Sustained-Release Capsules, or Diclofenac Sodium Sustained-Release Tablets may be taken as prescribed by a doctor.

In addition, axillary pain could also be caused by mammary gland hyperplasia. If symptoms persist without improvement, prompt medical attention is necessary.
