Introduction
If it is early-stage syphilis, with prompt and proper treatment, death usually does not occur. However, in cases of late-stage syphilis with systemic syphilitic rash, death may occur. Patients are advised to seek timely medical care at a hospital and follow the doctor's instructions for treatment. In daily life, maintaining a healthy lifestyle and avoiding unsafe sexual practices can help prevent the occurrence and spread of syphilis.

If it is early syphilis, with active treatment, death usually does not occur; however, if it is late-stage syphilis with systemic syphilitic rash, death may occur. It is recommended that patients promptly go to the hospital and follow medical advice for treatment. The analysis is as follows:

1. No fatality: In the initial stage of syphilis infection, symptoms such as hard chancre and swollen lymph nodes may appear. With timely and active treatment using antibiotics, the condition can be effectively controlled. Early syphilis typically does not lead to death. Patients are advised to promptly follow medical instructions to take medications such as Penicillin V potassium tablets, Benzathine penicillin for injection, or Procaine penicillin for injection.

2. Fatality possible: If syphilis is not treated promptly in its early stages and progresses to late-stage syphilis, systemic syphilitic rash may develop. The Treponema pallidum bacteria may invade multiple organ systems including the heart, nervous system, and bones. These damages can lead to severe complications such as endocarditis, neurosyphilis, and aortic aneurysm, which pose life-threatening risks and may result in death.

In daily life, it is recommended to maintain a healthy lifestyle and avoid unsafe sexual practices to prevent the occurrence and transmission of syphilis.
