Common causes of perianal cysts generally include anal fissures, hemorrhoids, and other conditions resulting from infection. After developing a perianal cyst, patients may experience folliculitis or sweat gland inflammation of the skin around the anus, as well as perianal dermatological diseases. In severe cases, this can lead to perianal abscess formation.
