Glossitis usually resolves within two to three weeks. During treatment, patients should maintain a balanced diet, supplement with multiple vitamins, enhance immunity, and promptly remove residual roots, residual crowns, and undergo subgingival scaling to control bacteria in the oral cavity. If there is obvious inflammation of the tongue, oral cephalosporins and nitroimidazole antibiotics may be taken under a doctor's guidance.
