How to exercise with low blood pressure
Disease description:
I have slightly low blood pressure and poor physical fitness. I'd like to start exercising to improve my health. Could you please advise how someone with low blood pressure should exercise?
For hypotension, it's important to choose appropriate forms of exercise. Aerobic activities such as jogging, practicing tai chi, sword training, and skipping rope can help strengthen the body and improve physical fitness. It is recommended to exercise 2–3 times per week, with each session not exceeding 30 minutes. Intense exercise may easily cause blood vessel dilation and impair cerebral circulation, leading to adverse symptoms such as dizziness. Additionally, exercises like sit-ups and cycling can also be incorporated into daily routines to enhance overall physical health.
