In the early stages, vulvar leukoplakia usually presents with mild itching of the vulva, particularly severe at night. Additionally, lesions may appear on the inner mucosa of the labia minora, such as mucosal redness and swelling, burning sensation, and whitening of the vulvar skin. As the condition progresses, vulvar atrophy may occur, which can affect normal sexual activity.
