Hello, the condition of a scar primarily depends on its size and age, as well as individual differences in skin type and overall physical health—factors that influence healing time. Generally, small scars resulting from scratches, insect bites, abrasions, or minor falls tend to resolve spontaneously; skin color typically normalizes within 2–3 weeks after scab removal. However, for larger or deeper wounds, scar fading may take 1–2 years in some individuals—or, conversely, the scar may become hypertrophic.
