How long after taking Euthyrox can I eat?

After taking Levothyroxine (Euthyrox), patients should generally wait at least 30 minutes before eating. The daily dose of Levothyroxine may be taken once daily, 30 minutes before breakfast, with an appropriate liquid—such as half a glass of lukewarm water—on an empty stomach. For infants and young children, the full daily dose may be administered 30 minutes before the first meal of the day: the tablet may be crushed with a suitable amount of water to form a suspension, which is then administered with an appropriate quantity of lukewarm water.
