How to quickly reduce a high fever of 39°C in babies
When a baby has a high fever of 39°C, rapid fever reduction can be achieved through physical cooling methods such as alcohol wiping, or by using medication under medical guidance, such as ibuprofen or acetaminophen, to bring down the fever quickly. The correct procedures are as follows:

1. Prepare 100 ml of 75% alcohol mixed with an equal amount of warm water, keeping the solution temperature around 27–37°C—never too cold.
2. Calm the baby's emotions and ensure the room is warm when removing clothing.
3. Using a small towel soaked in the diluted alcohol, begin wiping from the neck downward, using a gentle patting motion. Pay special attention to areas such as the armpits, groin, and other regions rich in superficial arteries and blood vessels, wiping until the skin appears slightly reddened.
During fever episodes, closely monitor the baby’s mental state. For specific conditions, it is recommended to seek medical attention at a hospital and receive standardized treatment under a doctor's guidance. Do not self-medicate, as this may delay proper diagnosis and treatment.
