Introduction
Intermittent cardiac arrest usually refers to intermittent episodes of sudden cessation of the heart's blood-pumping function, which commonly causes symptoms such as chest tightness, shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, loss of consciousness, dizziness, and arrhythmia. It is recommended to seek timely medical attention at a hospital and, under a doctor's guidance, receive treatment with medications such as amiodarone hydrochloride tablets, lidocaine hydrochloride injection, and promethazine hydrochloride tablets.

Intermittent cardiac arrest usually refers to the episodic sudden cessation of the heart's blood ejection function, which commonly causes symptoms such as chest tightness, shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, loss of consciousness, dizziness, and arrhythmia.

1. Chest tightness and shortness of breath

During an episode, blood cannot be pumped effectively to various parts of the body, leading to insufficient myocardial blood supply or a sudden drop in blood pressure. This results in myocardial hypoxia, causing sensations of chest tightness and shortness of breath.

2. Nausea and vomiting

Intermittent cardiac arrest can easily activate the sympathetic nervous system, triggering a stress response in the body and resulting in nausea and vomiting.

3. Loss of consciousness

Due to severe disruption of normal metabolic processes, cerebral blood supply may become inadequate or systemic metabolism may become disordered, impairing nervous system function and leading to confusion or loss of consciousness.

4. Dizziness

During an episode, the heart is unable to pump blood effectively, often causing inadequate blood supply to organs throughout the body. Oxygen cannot be adequately delivered to the brain via the bloodstream, leaving the brain in a state of hypoxia and easily triggering dizziness.

5. Arrhythmia

Intermittent cardiac arrest can lead to systemic hypoxia or brief periods of cardiac standstill. After the heart restarts, its rhythm may become irregular, resulting in arrhythmia.

If any of the above symptoms occur, it is recommended to seek prompt medical attention at a hospital. Under a doctor’s guidance, medications such as amiodarone hydrochloride tablets, lidocaine hydrochloride injection, and promethazine hydrochloride tablets may be used for treatment.
