Introduction
HPV53 positive indicates that the patient is infected with the human papillomavirus (HPV), which is classified as a high-risk type of viral infection. The patient should first focus on improving their immune status by avoiding late nights, enhancing physical strength, and increasing exercise to boost immunity. Some patients may spontaneously clear the infection through a robust immune response. Additionally, patients may follow medical advice to use medications such as interferon suppositories or Baofukang suppositories for treatment.

An HPV53 positive result means that HPV subtype 53 has been detected in cervical epithelial cells via HPV testing. HPV, short for human papillomavirus, can persist long-term in the cervical epithelium and is one of the primary causes of cervical cancer in women. If high-risk HPV53 infection persists, it is recommended to undergo colposcopy or local biopsy as early as possible to rule out the possibility of cervical malignancy.

Patients with a positive HPV53 infection should also undergo TCT testing (cervical smear test). If the TCT results are normal, antiviral treatment may be initiated. However, if TCT results are abnormal and indicate low-grade or high-grade intraepithelial lesions, the patient should promptly undergo colposcopic biopsy to exclude cervical pathological changes.
