Introduction
If an infant is one year old or older, they usually have developed normal physiological spinal curves. Using a latex pillow with appropriate height and firmness can typically enhance sleep comfort, which is generally beneficial at this stage. However, for infants under one year of age, the physiological curves have not yet developed, and because latex pillows are less malleable, their use may negatively affect the normal development of the spine, making them generally unsuitable.

Whether it is good for infants to sleep on latex pillows generally depends on their age, and the effects may be either positive or negative.

1. Beneficial

If the infant is already one year old or older, normal physiological curvature of the spine usually begins to develop. Using a latex pillow with appropriate height and firmness can typically enhance sleeping comfort, making it generally beneficial at this stage.

2. Not recommended

If the infant is under one year of age, the cervical spine is just beginning to develop and mostly remains in a straight, horizontal position without established physiological curvature. Additionally, because latex pillows have relatively low moldability, using one may interfere with the normal development of the spine, making it generally unsuitable at this age.

When infants do use latex pillows, it's advisable to choose high-quality products to avoid potential problems caused by poor quality materials or inadequate breathability.
