Introduction
In general, the surgical approach for uterine diverticulum varies depending on the chosen procedure, leading to certain differences in the operation process. Clinically, hysteroscopic electroresection is commonly used. This procedure features minimal invasiveness and rapid recovery, but it still carries some risk of injury. To avoid harm to the body, surgery should be performed under the guidance of a qualified physician.

Generally, the surgical approach for uterine diverticulum varies depending on the chosen method, leading to certain differences in the procedure. The most commonly used technique in clinical practice is hysteroscopic electroresection. The specific steps are as follows:

1. Position the patient in the supine position, disinfect the local areas of the vulva and vagina, drape with sterile towels, and administer anesthesia.

2. Gradually dilate the cervix using cervical dilators of increasing sizes.

3. After cervical dilation, insert the hysteroscope through the vagina and cervix into the uterine cavity.

4. Once a clear field of view is obtained, extend the resecting loop beyond the sheath to the far end of the lesion and perform parallel cutting from distant to near areas.

5. After resection is complete, withdraw the resectoscope.

6. Increase intrauterine pressure to check for residual endometrial tissue; decrease intrauterine pressure to examine for bleeding sites, and if any bleeding points are found, apply electrocoagulation to achieve hemostasis.

Hysteroscopic electroresection offers advantages such as minimal invasiveness and rapid recovery, but it still carries some risks of injury. To avoid harm to the body, surgery should be performed under the guidance of a qualified physician. Adequate rest is recommended after surgery.
