Introduction
Minimally invasive endoscopic sinus surgery refers to the removal of nasal polyps under nasal endoscopy. The patient is placed under general anesthesia, and then a spray agent and cotton pledgets are inserted into the nasal cavity. Next, the endoscopic surgical system, nasal suction-cutting device, and other equipment are adjusted and prepared. After complete vasoconstriction is achieved, the nasal endoscope is introduced into the nasal cavity, allowing direct visualization of the location and size of the lesion on the monitor.

Nasal polyp minimally invasive surgery refers to a treatment method in which nasal polyps are removed under endoscopic guidance. The procedure must be performed at a正规 hospital, and the specific surgical steps are as follows:

1. Administer general anesthesia to the patient, then insert a spray agent and cotton pledgets into the nasal cavity. Next, set up and prepare the endoscopic surgical system, nasal shaver, and other equipment.

2. After waiting for complete vasoconstriction, insert the nasal endoscope into the nasal cavity. At this point, the location and size of the lesion can be directly observed on the display screen.

3. Examine the nasal polyps and the condition of each sinus opening, then use a shaver to remove the polyps and enlarge the sinus openings. In severe cases, removal of the uncinate process may also be considered.

4. Ensure adequate drainage from each sinus opening, clear diseased tissue from the sinus cavities, while preserving healthy tissue.

5. After surgery, pack the nasal cavity with sponges to prevent excessive bleeding.

In addition, patients should continue using corticosteroid nasal sprays for several months after surgery to prevent polyp recurrence. For patients with severe conditions, oral corticosteroids may also be prescribed under a doctor's guidance.
