Introduction
Postpartum hypertension may result from physiological causes or from having had gestational hypertension during pregnancy. Nephritis can cause kidney damage, leading to excessive fluid in the blood vessels and increased blood volume, which maintains high blood pressure after delivery. Hydrochlorothiazide tablets, furosemide tablets, and prednisolone acetate tablets can be used under a doctor's guidance for treatment. Drug-related factors are also a major cause of postpartum hypertension and should be treated promptly.

Postpartum hypertension may result from physiological causes such as excessive psychological stress after childbirth, or from pathological conditions such as gestational hypertension or nephritis. Targeted treatment should be carried out under a doctor's guidance based on the underlying cause. The details are as follows:

I. Physiological Causes

Excessive psychological stress in women after delivery, combined with poor sleep quality due to infant feeding, may increase sympathetic nervous system activity, leading to elevated blood pressure. However, this condition is generally not severe and can be relieved by timely adjustment of mental state and avoiding large emotional fluctuations.

II. Pathological Causes

1. Gestational Hypertension

Poor dietary control during pregnancy may lead to gestational hypertension. Since antihypertensive medications cannot be used long-term during pregnancy, blood pressure may remain high after delivery. It is recommended to follow medical advice and use antihypertensive drugs such as nitroglycerin tablets, labetalol hydrochloride tablets, or furosemide tablets for treatment.

2. Nephritis

When the kidneys become inflamed due to viral or bacterial infections, kidney damage may occur, resulting in excess fluid within blood vessels and increased blood volume, which can maintain high blood pressure levels even after childbirth. Treatment under medical supervision may include medications such as hydrochlorothiazide tablets, furosemide tablets, or prednisolone acetate tablets.

In addition, renal hypertension is also one of the main causes of postpartum hypertension. It is recommended to seek prompt medical evaluation, identify the underlying cause, and receive appropriate treatment accordingly.
