Introduction
The pain associated with chronic pancreatitis is generally not severe. Chronic pancreatitis may be caused by long-term alcohol abuse, Coxsackie virus infection, genetic factors, etc. Due to stimulation by inflammatory factors, patients may experience pain in the pancreatic area, but this pain is usually mild and intermittent. If patients find the pain difficult to tolerate, they may take diclofenac sodium sustained-release tablets as directed by a physician.

Pain in chronic pancreatitis is generally not severe. The detailed analysis is as follows:
Chronic pancreatitis may be caused by long-term alcohol abuse, Coxsackie virus infection, genetic factors, etc. Under the stimulation of inflammatory factors, patients may experience pain in the pancreatic area; however, the pain is usually mild and intermittent. If patients find the pain difficult to tolerate, they can take medications such as diclofenac sodium sustained-release tablets or ibuprofen sustained-release capsules according to medical advice. During this period, it is also necessary to follow a doctor’s instructions when using medications like cefixime capsules or cefotiam hydrochloride for injection to treat chronic pancreatitis. If pancreatic necrosis has already occurred in patients with chronic pancreatitis, endoscopic intervention may be required. Additionally, during treatment, patients should maintain a light diet and avoid spicy, raw, cold, and other irritating foods.
It is recommended that patients maintain a healthy lifestyle and avoid frequent late nights. Strenuous physical exercise should be avoided during treatment to prevent worsening of symptoms.
