Introduction
Hernia surgery includes high ligation of the hernia sac and tension-free hernia repair. Clinically, inguinal tension-free hernia repair is commonly performed. This procedure requires a certain level of expertise and should be conducted under a physician's guidance to reduce surgical risks. It is also important to avoid factors that increase intra-abdominal pressure in daily life, such as coughing and sneezing.

Generally, hernia surgery includes high ligation of the hernia sac and tension-free hernia repair. The most commonly performed procedure in clinical practice is the tension-free inguinal hernia repair. The specific steps are as follows:

1. Administer combined spinal-epidural anesthesia. After the anesthesia takes effect, position the patient supine and perform routine disinfection of the inguinal region, followed by draping with sterile towels.

2. Make an approximately 2 cm incision over the affected inguinal region, open the anterior wall of the inguinal canal, and expose key structures including the hernia sac, internal ring, and spermatic cord.

3. Dissect and mobilize the spermatic cord, incise the cremaster muscle, free the hernia sac, perform high ligation, and then suture the cremaster muscle.

4. Reconstruct the internal ring, place a mesh implant in front of the transversalis fascia, reinforce the posterior wall of the inguinal canal, and securely fix the mesh.

5. Ensure thorough hemostasis at the surgical site, then close the incision with sutures.

This procedure requires specialized expertise and should be performed under the guidance of a qualified physician to minimize surgical risks. Patients should maintain healthy lifestyle habits and avoid spicy or irritating foods postoperatively to promote proper recovery.
