Acne on the back of the neck
The neck usually refers to the cervical region. Acne on the back of the neck may be caused by factors such as poor dietary habits, abnormal androgen secretion, or folliculitis. Different causes require different treatments. Specific analyses are as follows:
1. Poor Diet
Improper diet can increase sebaceous gland secretion, leading to blockage of sebaceous ducts and resulting in acne on the back of the neck. It is important to maintain a light diet and promptly adjust eating habits. Additionally, following medical advice, undergo fruit acid treatment, which helps clean clogged pores and effectively removes acne.
2. Abnormal Androgen Secretion
This may result from endocrine disorders or hormonal imbalances that increase sebum production and cause blockage of sebaceous ducts, potentially leading to severe acne. Follow medical guidance to undergo laser therapy, which can effectively eliminate acne.
3. Folliculitis
Usually caused by bacterial infection, folliculitis leads to excessive sebum production, possibly blocking pores and causing acne. Treatment should be conducted under a doctor's supervision using medications such as amoxicillin capsules or roxithromycin tablets. Laser therapy may also be used to improve symptoms.
In addition to the common causes listed above, other possible conditions include eczema, molluscum contagiosum, and acne vulgaris. If any discomfort occurs, it is recommended to seek timely medical attention for proper diagnosis and treatment.
