Introduction
In general, fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO) measurement is a novel testing method commonly used to assess airway inflammation and airway hyperresponsiveness. 1. The subject should sit quietly and rest for 5 minutes. 2. Exhale fully to empty the lungs. 3. Then close the lips tightly around the disposable mouthpiece of the nitric oxide analyzer to prevent air leakage.

Generally, fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO) measurement is a relatively new testing method commonly used to assess airway inflammation and airway hyperresponsiveness. The specific procedure is as follows:

1. The subject should sit comfortably and rest quietly for 5 minutes.

2. Exhale completely to empty the lungs.

3. Close the lips tightly around the disposable mouthpiece of the nitric oxide analyzer to prevent air leakage.

4. Open the lips slightly and inhale calmly to total lung capacity, then exhale steadily and slowly at a constant flow rate. Adults should maintain exhalation for approximately 10 seconds, while children under 12 years of age should exhale for at least 4 seconds.

5. After the test, the subject may leave the examination room and wait for results.

It is recommended that FeNO testing be performed at a正规 medical facility under the guidance of a qualified physician.
