Introduction
Laryngeal squamous papilloma may be caused by factors such as unhealthy lifestyle habits, environmental irritation, improper diet, low immunity, and human papillomavirus (HPV) infection. It is recommended to seek medical attention promptly. Under medical guidance, the condition can be improved through general management, medication, and other treatments. Specifically: in daily life, one should ensure adequate rest and sufficient sleep, and avoid staying up late.

Papillomas of the squamous epithelium of the vocal cords may be caused by factors such as unhealthy lifestyle habits, environmental irritation, improper diet, low immunity, and human papillomavirus (HPV) infection. It is recommended to seek medical attention promptly. Under medical guidance, the condition can be improved through general management, medication, and other treatments. Specific analysis is as follows:

1. Unhealthy lifestyle habits: Long-term smoking may expose the esophageal mucosa to nicotine and other components in tobacco, potentially irritating the tissue and leading to papillomas of the squamous epithelium of the vocal cords. It is important to avoid smoking and alcohol consumption, refrain from staying up late, and maintain sufficient sleep in daily life.

2. Environmental irritation: Prolonged exposure to polluted environments or frequent contact with dust may increase the risk of developing papillomas of the squamous epithelium of the vocal cords. Protective measures should be taken, such as wearing masks when going outdoors, frequently opening windows for ventilation, and maintaining fresh indoor air.

3. Improper diet: Consuming excessive spicy or irritating foods—such as chili peppers and Sichuan pepper—may irritate the esophageal mucosa and contribute to the aforementioned condition. A light diet is recommended, with appropriate intake of mild foods such as millet porridge and noodles.

4. Low immunity: Chronic sleep deprivation or excessive fatigue may lead to reduced immune function, increasing susceptibility to HPV infection and thereby triggering papillomas of the squamous epithelium of the vocal cords. Adequate rest is essential. Engaging in moderate outdoor activities such as jogging or swimming may help enhance immune function.

5. Human papillomavirus (HPV) infection: HPV infection may be associated with unhygienic sexual practices or indirect contact. In the esophagus, squamous epithelium may develop wart-like growths, accompanied by symptoms such as retrosternal pain and difficulty swallowing. Under a doctor's supervision, patients may use medications such as thymopeptide enteric-coated tablets, recombinant human interferon α2b gel, and valacyclovir hydrochloride tablets for treatment.

In daily life, it is important to get adequate rest, ensure sufficient sleep, avoid staying up late, and engage in appropriate outdoor activities such as walking or calisthenics, which may aid in recovery.
