What are the initial symptoms of type A flu?
Influenza A refers to Type A influenza. Generally, the initial symptoms of Influenza A include high fever, severe cough, sore throat, generalized muscle aches, fatigue, and overall body discomfort.

1. High Fever: At the onset of Influenza A, patients typically develop a high fever, with body temperature rapidly rising above 38°C. The fever lasts for a prolonged period and may sometimes be accompanied by chills.
2. Severe Cough: The cough associated with Influenza A is usually more severe than that of the common cold. It is often dry and persistent, possibly lasting for several weeks.
3. Sore Throat: The Influenza A virus invades the mucosal tissues of the throat, causing inflammation. Under the effect of the virus, the throat mucosa becomes congested and swollen, resulting in pain.
4. Muscle Aches: Viral infection triggers a systemic inflammatory response. The inflammatory mediators released act on the muscle tissues, increasing the sensitivity of pain receptors within the muscles, thus causing muscle pain.
5. Fatigue and General Malaise: The inflammatory response caused by the virus affects the body's normal metabolism. Patients may feel extremely tired and also experience general discomfort, such as dizziness, headache, and a sensation of body heaviness.
It is recommended to maintain good personal hygiene habits in daily life, such as wearing masks, frequent hand washing, and avoiding gatherings, which can help prevent Influenza A or other respiratory infectious diseases.
