5. Massage and Rehabilitation Exercises: During the recovery phase of the sprain, appropriate massage can improve blood circulation, help relax tense muscles, and accelerate tissue repair. Rehabilitation exercises can enhance muscle strength, joint mobility, and proprioception at the injured site, preventing muscle atrophy and joint stiffness.

During the recovery period from the sprain, weight-bearing walking and strenuous exercise should be avoided to prevent worsening the injury and prolonging the recovery time.
