Introduction
Under normal circumstances, beverages that should not be consumed with crabs include tea, coffee, milk and dairy products, fruit juice, carbonated drinks, etc. Tea contains a large amount of tannic acid, which can easily combine with the protein in crabs to form a precipitate of tannic acid-protein complex that is difficult to digest. This precipitated substance is not only hard to be digested and absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract, but may also cause discomfort symptoms such as indigestion and abdominal distension.

Generally, beverages that should not be consumed with crabs include tea, coffee, milk and dairy products, fruit juices, and carbonated drinks. The specific explanations are as follows:

1. Tea

Tea contains a large amount of tannic acid, which can easily combine with the protein in crabs to form tannic acid-protein precipitates that are difficult to digest. These precipitates are not only hard to digest and absorb in the gastrointestinal tract but may also cause discomfort symptoms such as indigestion and abdominal distension.

2. Coffee

Caffeine in coffee is a central nervous system stimulant with irritant properties. Crabs themselves are also stimulating foods, and consuming them together with coffee may increase irritation to the gastrointestinal tract, causing adverse reactions such as nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain.

3. Milk and dairy products

Crabs are naturally rich in protein. If large amounts of high-protein beverages like milk are consumed simultaneously, it may lead to excessive protein intake, increasing the burden on the gastrointestinal tract and causing symptoms such as indigestion and diarrhea.

4. Fruit juice

Although fruit juices are rich in vitamins, acidic components in some juices may react with proteins in crabs, affecting the digestion and absorption of protein. Additionally, the sugar content in fruit juices may increase the burden on the gastrointestinal tract, which is unfavorable for health.

5. Carbonated drinks

Carbonated beverages contain large amounts of gas and phosphoric acid. When consumed with crabs, these components may excessively irritate the gastrointestinal mucosa, causing discomfort. At the same time, phosphoric acid in carbonated drinks may combine with calcium in crabs to form calcium phosphate precipitates that are difficult for the human body to digest and absorb.

Although crabs are nutritious, excessive consumption may also burden the gastrointestinal tract. Therefore, it is important to control the amount consumed and maintain a balanced diet.
