At county-level or Grade I hospitals, open surgery is typically used to treat pediatric inguinal hernia, with an approximate cost of RMB 3,000.
At county-level or Grade I–II hospitals, laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery may be performed, with total surgical costs averaging around RMB 4,000.
