Introduction
Women with excessive dampness in the body can generally improve their condition through dietary regulation, moderate exercise, improved living environment, moxibustion therapy, and maintaining regular作息 (daily routines). They should reduce consumption of raw, cold, greasy, and overly sweet foods and instead consume more red beans, coix seed, wax gourd, Chinese yam, and other ingredients known for their functions of strengthening the spleen and resolving dampness. These ingredients can be prepared as porridge or soup, helping the body to transform and eliminate dampness by adjusting dietary habits.

Generally, women with excessive dampness can usually regulate it through dietary adjustments, moderate exercise, improvement of living environment, moxibustion therapy, and maintaining regular作息. If abnormalities occur, prompt medical attention is recommended. Detailed analysis is as follows:

1. Dietary Regulation: Reduce intake of raw, cold, greasy, and overly sweet foods. Consume more ingredients that help strengthen the spleen and eliminate dampness, such as red beans, coix seed, wax gourd, and Chinese yam. These ingredients can be cooked into porridge or soups. Adjusting dietary habits helps the body metabolize dampness and alleviate discomfort caused by excessive dampness.

2. Moderate Exercise: Choose suitable forms of exercise such as yoga, brisk walking, or swimming, and maintain a routine of exercising 3–5 times weekly for about 30 minutes each session. Exercise promotes blood circulation, enhances spleen function, accelerates the elimination of dampness, improves physical constitution, and boosts immunity.

3. Improve Living Environment: Keep the living environment dry and well-ventilated, avoid indoor dampness, and close windows and doors promptly during rainy weather to prevent damp air from entering. Regularly air out bedding and clothing to reduce the impact of environmental dampness on the body and create favorable external conditions for bodily regulation.

4. Moxibustion Therapy: Under the guidance of professionals, moxibustion can be applied to acupoints such as Guanyuan (CV4), Qihai (CV6), Zusanli (ST36), and Yinlingquan (SP9). Moxibustion helps warm the meridians, dispel cold, and remove dampness. The thermal stimulation promotes the elimination of internal dampness and is especially suitable for women with cold-damp constitutions. Care should be taken to control the duration and frequency of moxibustion sessions.

5. Regular作息: Avoid staying up late and ensure sufficient sleep daily, aiming to be asleep before 11 p.m. if possible. Long-term sleep deprivation impairs spleen function and hinders dampness metabolism. Maintaining a regular作息 allows the body to rest adequately, helps restore normal spleen function, and promotes the elimination of dampness.

Regulating dampness requires long-term persistence and should not be rushed. If symptoms do not improve significantly after regulation or if irregular menstruation or worsening edema occurs, prompt medical attention should be sought.
