They are widely distributed, initially symmetrical, and later become polymorphic—commonly presenting as macules, maculopapules, papules, follicular eruptions, or pustules. The earliest skin lesion usually appears as a macule, often located on the trunk and flexural surfaces of the limbs; these lesions generally resolve spontaneously within several days. As the disease progresses, patients may simultaneously exhibit both chancres (hard sores) and skin rashes. Additionally, the rashes may ulcerate and spread to other areas. Besides these external manifestations, some patients may also experience systemic symptoms such as dizziness, fatigue, and joint pain.

1. Drug therapy

This approach helps suppress further bacterial proliferation and supports recovery—though antibiotic therapy remains the cornerstone of management.
