Frequent snoring in infants is abnormal. If an infant snores only occasionally, observe whether it is caused by milk residue accumulation or improper sleeping position; in most cases, the snoring can be alleviated by burping the infant or adjusting their sleeping position. However, if an infant snores frequently, it may be associated with nasal secretions, adenoid hypertrophy, or laryngeal cartilage hypoplasia, and prompt medical evaluation at a hospital is recommended.
