What causes girls to snore?
I often talk in my sleep and snore loudly. Sometimes, I even wake up my husband. Now he wants to sleep in separate rooms because he's bothered by my snoring. So, what causes snoring in women?

The main causes of snoring in women include the following aspects:
1. Physiological structure: Conditions such as enlarged nasal turbinates, deviated nasal septum, and narrowed nasal passages may cause airway obstruction, leading to snoring.
2. Obesity: Particularly fat accumulation in the neck and abdominal areas may compress the airway, narrowing the pharyngeal cavity and obstructing airflow, thus causing snoring.
3. Hormonal imbalance: Especially in menopausal women, changes in hormone levels may lead to muscle relaxation, resulting in a narrowed pharyngeal cavity during sleep and subsequent snoring.
4. Lifestyle habits: Poor lifestyle habits such as long-term late nights, overtime work, excessive fatigue, as well as consumption of alcohol or strong tea before bedtime, may affect sleep quality and lead to snoring.
5. Medical conditions: Nasal diseases such as rhinitis and sinusitis, as well as throat conditions such as enlarged tonsils and adenoids, may also cause snoring.
6. Psychological stress: High levels of mental stress, tension, and anxiety can also affect sleep quality and lead to snoring.
If snoring severely impacts sleep quality or is accompanied by symptoms such as daytime sleepiness and headaches, prompt medical attention is advised.
