What Are the Symptoms of Low Blood Pressure?
Disease description:
Over the past two days, I’ve felt dizzy and nauseous every night before falling asleep. My doctor said it’s due to low blood pressure. Could you please tell me what symptoms are associated with low blood pressure?
Low blood pressure (hypotension) is primarily categorized into physiological hypotension and pathological hypotension. Physiological hypotension mainly manifests as dizziness and blurred vision, which typically resolve with adequate rest. In contrast, pathological hypotension not only presents with the aforementioned symptoms but may also cause headache, palpitations, unstable blood glucose levels, and discomfort in the precordial region. In severe cases, patients with excessively low blood pressure may even experience syncope or transient shock.
