If enteritis develops, symptomatic treatment under a physician’s guidance is required. During this period, increase fluid intake to prevent dehydration. Select appropriate anti-infective medications and use antidiarrheal and antibiotic agents rationally. While undergoing drug therapy, understand each medication’s mechanism of action and prescribed dosage; do not discontinue or change medications without medical advice. During abdominal pain, drink warm water in moderation and keep the abdomen warm to avoid chilling. Regularly perform gentle abdominal massage to promote recovery of intestinal function.
