The severity of prostate enlargement depends on the patient's associated symptoms. The prostate is an internal male reproductive organ, and its size gradually increases with age. If the enlarged prostate compresses the urethra and obstructs the bladder outlet, causing difficulty in urination, the condition is considered more serious. However, if the enlargement occurs in the peripheral area and has little impact on urination, the condition is not severe.
