Can Si Wu Tang be taken for adnexitis?

In general, it is acceptable to consume Siwu Decoction (Four Substances Decoction) for adnexitis. Siwu Decoction contains traditional Chinese herbs such as peony root (Shaoyao), Sichuan lovage rhizome (Chuanxiong), Chinese angelica (Danggui), and prepared rehmannia (Shudihuang), which can help nourish and replenish blood. It does not negatively affect the condition of adnexitis. However, Siwu Decoction cannot treat adnexitis itself. When suffering from adnexitis, it is important to promptly follow a doctor's guidance and take antibiotic anti-inflammatory medications for proper treatment.
