For the past few days, I've had a mild, lingering pain in my testicle. It's not severe, but the discomfort has been persistent. I'd like to know what might be causing this kind of dull testicular pain?

Testicular dull pain is generally caused by varicocele or inflammatory infections. Epididymitis is a common cause of testicular pain. Acute epididymitis has a short onset period and is usually related to bacterial infection. It often occurs unilaterally, characterized by rapid swelling and pain in the scrotum, with significant pain intensity. Severe cases may be accompanied by fever, nausea, and chills. Varicocele is a common condition, primarily affecting the left testicle in males, and mainly manifests as scrotal enlargement, swelling, and pain.
