Left lower abdominal and left testicular pain in males is generally caused by inflammation. Inflammatory reactions of the epididymis or testicle can lead to testicular swelling and pain, resulting in enlargement of the testicle and causing pain in one or both testicles. This may also be accompanied by increased local skin temperature and redness in the scrotum and penis. Some cases of lower abdominal pain are due to varicocele, which can be relieved by taking ibuprofen sustained-release capsules.
