Left testicular pain is generally caused by inflammation or similar factors. For example, orchitis is a common cause of testicular pain, primarily resulting from the worsening of testicular disease, with inflammatory irritation leading to pain in the testicle. If not treated promptly, it may lead to male infertility. Left varicocele and chronic prostatitis can both cause pain in the left testicle; this type of pain is usually mild and mainly presents as a dull ache or distending pain.
