Symptoms of calf tendonitis

Disease description:

My leg hurts quite a bit, especially in the lower leg area. When walking, I can't take big steps, and the pain worsens during rainy weather. The school doctor diagnosed me with tendonitis in the lower leg, but from what I know, tendonitis usually occurs in the hands. I'm a bit concerned and would like to ask about the symptoms of lower leg tendonitis to clarify this diagnosis.

Tendonitis of the lower leg usually causes local pain, acidic swelling, and restricted movement; some patients may also experience significant tenderness at the affected site, especially after prolonged standing, walking, or excessive fatigue. In severe cases, it can lead to inflammation of the Achilles tendon bursa. Therefore, once fasciitis of the lower leg occurs, it is important to keep the area warm, avoid exposure to cold, and prevent excessive loading on the lower leg.
