Tendonitis of the lower leg usually causes local pain, acidic swelling, and restricted movement; some patients may also experience significant tenderness at the affected site, especially after prolonged standing, walking, or excessive fatigue. In severe cases, it can lead to inflammation of the Achilles tendon bursa. Therefore, once fasciitis of the lower leg occurs, it is important to keep the area warm, avoid exposure to cold, and prevent excessive loading on the lower leg.
