Bile acid levels can be reduced by consuming fruits rich in vitamins, such as papaya, watermelon, and grapes; green vegetables like spinach and broccoli; and whole-grain products such as oatmeal and whole-wheat bread. In addition, foods like soybeans, shiitake mushrooms, corn, and raisins may also help lower bile acid levels. It is important to reduce intake of high-fat foods, increase dietary fiber, avoid irritating foods, and maintain a balanced diet. If bile acid levels are significantly elevated or accompanied by other symptoms such as loss of appetite, nausea, bloating, or discomfort in the liver area, medical attention should be sought promptly and treatment should be followed according to medical advice.
