What are the symptoms of otolithiasis?
Disease description:
I felt a bit dizzy today, and after going to the hospital, the doctor diagnosed me with benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). I'd like to know what symptoms this condition causes.
Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) causes patients to suddenly experience dizziness, unsteadiness, and visual rotation when changing body position or head position. Some patients may also have symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, and excessive sweating. Generally, the dizziness lasts for several seconds to minutes. Some patients may additionally experience symptoms such as hearing loss, tinnitus, or impaired consciousness.
