Symptoms of Otolithiasis
Disease description:
I am 28 years old. Recently, my ear has been slightly uncomfortable, and I suspect I might have otolith disease (ear stone disorder). I would like to ask, what are the symptoms of otolith disease?

The main symptoms of otolith disease include:
1. Vertigo: The most typical symptom of otolith disease is brief episodes of dizziness, which usually last for several seconds to tens of seconds, rarely exceeding one minute.
2. Nystagmus: During episodes of dizziness, the patient's eyes may exhibit involuntary rapid movement, known as nystagmus.
3. Balance disorder: Patients with otolith disease may feel unsteady while walking and are prone to losing balance.
4. Heaviness in the head and lightness in the feet: Patients may feel a heaviness in the head, as if something heavy is pressing on top of it, while feeling light-headed and unstable on their feet, making it difficult to support the body.
5. Sensitivity to sound and light: Patients may become abnormally sensitive to sound and light; even slight noises or illumination may cause discomfort or worsen the dizziness.
