In general, hemophilia and leukemia are completely different diseases. The difference lies in the fact that leukemia results from abnormal blood cell production in the bone marrow, whereas hemophilia is caused by a congenital or acquired deficiency of clotting factors. Clinically, leukemia can be classified as acute or chronic, and further categorized as lymphocytic or myeloid; hemophilia can be classified as congenital or acquired. Both conditions require definitive diagnosis by a specialist physician.
