There are many possible causes of shoulder periarthritis, including local trauma or tumors; therefore, it is recommended to promptly undergo a local X-ray examination, and if necessary, a CT scan to rule out organic diseases. If the condition is indeed shoulder periarthritis, topical treatments such as Tongluo Zhitong plaster or similar plasters can be applied, along with topical analgesics like tiaprofenic acid ethyl ester. Additionally, persistent shoulder joint abduction exercises should be maintained. This approach helps manage local pain caused by shoulder periarthritis.
