Uterine adhesions can affect pregnancy. If the adhesion is mild, it may not significantly impact conception. In such cases, fertilization can still occur in the fallopian tube, and the fertilized egg can be transported back to the uterus where it implants and results in pregnancy. However, severe uterine adhesions make natural conception very difficult. Medical intervention at a hospital is required, typically involving hysteroscopic electrocautery surgery. Pregnancy is usually possible about three months after the procedure.
