Treatment for common peroneal nerve injury may include medications, surgery, and other approaches. The treatment depends on the type and severity of the injury. In cases of open injuries, nerve fiber rupture or defects commonly occur, and conservative treatments are usually ineffective, as spontaneous recovery is unlikely.
