Images of leech bites
Disease description:
As the hot summer arrives, many people enjoy swimming in nearby streams or lakes to cool off, and sometimes encounter leech bites. Here are some pictures of leech bites.
Initially, after being bitten by a leech, there may be mild pain or occasional itching at the site without immediate awareness. When the leech is removed, distinct pain typically develops, and a triangular-shaped wound becomes visible, often accompanied by redness or hives. Additionally, it is not advisable to forcefully pull a leech off; instead, gently tap the surrounding skin to encourage the leech to detach naturally. Swimming outdoors during summer is not recommended; using a swimming pool is preferable.
