Is tenosynovitis of the finger easy to treat?

Disease description:

I've been experiencing sore muscles in my arm over the past couple of days, especially pain in my fingers. Sometimes the pain is so severe that I'm afraid to move them. Someone suggested it might be finger tenosynovitis, but I'm not sure if that's really what it is. Is finger tenosynovitis treatable?

Dr. Lin Yunfei
Tenosynovitis of the finger is a very common condition. Most cases of tenosynovitis can be cured through conservative treatment, but require scientifically-based management. The condition is primarily associated with frequent use of the fingers in work and daily life, so addressing the underlying causes is essential. Treatment includes local rest or reduced activity, rehabilitation therapy, and soaking in warm water for extended periods to help reduce swelling. Patients are advised to get adequate rest, keep their hands warm to avoid cold exposure, and seek medical attention promptly if symptoms arise.
