Influenza A typically triggers respiratory infections and may cause fever. During sleep, the body's immune function is usually relatively low, which may allow the virus to become more active, leading to fever with body temperature possibly exceeding 38°C. When patients infected with Influenza A are resting at night, the body's functions slow down, resulting in reduced metabolism and an impaired ability to eliminate toxins, thus causing fever shortly after falling asleep.
