Hello, eyelid twitching may be caused by emotional stress, fatigue, or insufficient sleep. If the patient experiences persistent eyelid twitching without significant improvement—and especially if it is accompanied by facial muscle twitching—it could indicate viral involvement of the facial nerve, leading to blepharospasm.
