Whether a right epididymal cyst affects fertility mainly depends on the size and location of the cyst. Generally, a right epididymal cyst does not usually impair fertility. As long as the cyst does not compress the epididymis or vas deferens and does not interfere with sperm release, it will not significantly affect fertility. Even if the cyst compresses the epididymis or vas deferens on one side, fertility may still be preserved if the other side produces and expels sperm normally, allowing the partner to become pregnant. However, if the cyst continues to grow, it may compress the epididymis and testicle, causing discomfort; in such cases, surgical treatment may be considered. In most cases, a right epididymal cyst does not affect fertility, but regular check-ups are still recommended, and timely medical intervention should be sought if necessary.
